Time on a Plate

While wishing I could better divide and allot my time each day, a mental image came to mind…a watch on a plate.

Wouldn’t it be great if time was so manageable? What if we could take the time we are given in life and slice it up into pieces, each one the size we wanted? The problem is this: we don’t know how much time we really have. We may actually have more plate, than time.

While at the Music Road Hotel in Pigeon Forge, TN, I had to take a picture of their fireplace.

No, it’s not an award-winning picture, but it was an award-worthy fireplace. It sure made me feel warm.

While studying for a master’s level exam covering source criticism and the Northern/Southern Galatian theories, I had to give my brain a rest. So, I doodled. Then I took a picture.

A Simple Tree

I walked out of my house and walked around back. Then, for no real reason, I looked up at the bare tree standing in the yard under a cold, blue sky.

I took a picture.

“Daddy! Look at this! Isn’t it cool? It’s an i4Daily picture,” she said with a big grin.

“What,” I asked? “It’s a door knob.”

“But look at this…the hole…I’ve never seen one of these before…where the key goes! Cool, huh?”

What was I to do? Of course I took a picture.

Big Blue and Little One, Too

This is another photo taken by my daughter. It is our youngest, and her new puppy, Jack.

Jack is a Chiweenie. Jack is much smaller than Big Blue, which is not a weenie, but a rhinoceros.

The actual work of art is called “Blue Boy Pull Toy #1.” It was bought by the city of Chattanooga for a little over $30,000 (click here to read the story).

Many people ask “why?”

Now, what’s really ironic is that my daughter took the picture while holding her iPhone over my head, as I took my own shot. Hers was better.

She also used Instagram to edit the photo.

My First Panoramic of Chattanooga

My daughters and I were in the Southside of Chattanooga this morning. It was a cool, rainy morning.

I thought to myself, “What a great opportunity to use my new app!”

I love the Chattanooga Riverfront. Best in Tennessee.
