Each year, high school students from across the country get together to work like dogs. In this case, they worked like dogs (some were hawgs) in Lookout Valley.

World Changers (part of the SBC North American Mission Board) gets kids together and takes them to site all over in order to do volunteer mission work. The mission is to show the love of Christ to those in need of home repair, etc. The ones that came to our town came from places as far away as Arkansas and Texas.

Each year they come, local churches are asked to take care of feeding them at lunch time. That is what we did each day this group was in our valley. We took them everything from ham sandwiches to pizza, with a lot of fruit and Gatorade to spare (it was in the high 90’s).

Fortunately, as the temperature warmed up, so did these kids to us. This was the first picture I got of them together. What a serious group, huh?
