Today was a special day in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. I was there with my favorite shirt.

The “Remembering Our Heroes” event was held in the polo field next to the 6th Cavalry Museum. The event was mainly a re-enactment of World War 2 battles.

Go to the link (HERE) to learn more. If you are around the area next year, I would highly advise going, especially since so few veterans from WW2 are still alive.

The picture shows me standing between a real jeep and an original tank destroyer used in the Battle of the Bulge (1944).

By the way…it was stinking hot!
