Do you see me? I am the little, bitty guy at the bottom right of this picture. Behind me is a Saturn 5 rocket, the kind that took men to the moon.

Now, I am cheating a little, here. My daughter, Katie, took this picture with her iPhone 4S. But hey, it’s my blog.

As I was looking at this picture, an interesting thought came to my mind. I thought, “Which can go farther?” Which one can travel farther into space? Me, or the huge Saturn 5?

Me.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. – John 14:3 ESV

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words. – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 ESV
